Apartment is situated on the riverside 350 metres from Legion bridge, which connects the National Theatre on the right bank with Kampa Island and Mala Strana quarter on the left bank. Charles Bridge is 950 metres distant - approx. 10 minutes walking. Not so big, but comfortable and well-equipped, the flat offers a perfect base for visiting all Prague sights on foot, from Vysehrad to Prague Castle. Riverside Apartment is located on the ground floor of the valuable historical neorenaissance house from the end of 19th century, on the corner of Malatova street with Janackovo embankment. The facade, designed by Jan Zeyer, is ornamented with zodiac signs and figures of most important Czech kings.
The riverside is a popular promenade with many other interesting buildings and houses also Jazz Dock club, located on the ponton on the river, just 70 metres from the apartment.
The big advantage of this location is the proximity of the Old Town and all Prague sights, but at the same time the quietness of the residential area without nightlife noise.
The apartment consist of the main vaulted double bed room with one Queen size mattress from natural latex, dinning table, kitchenette and spacious bathroom with shower.
Because of the date of construction, the house has very thick ground floor walls and therefore it has perfect stable temperature of approx.23°C, even during the hottest summer days.
In winter there is of course a powerfull gas heating and heated towel rack in the bathroom.
There is a highspeed Wi-Fi/cable internet connection (80 Mbps).
In the bathroom there is a shower, wash-basin, big panoramic mirror with integrated adjustable led lighting, toilet and washing machine with integrated dryer.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with electric cooker (inductional with 2 plates), microwave, fridge, boiling kettle, small dishwasher, espresso coffee machine, Sodastream, kitchen sink and all needed kitchen equipment including crockery and cutlery.
Coffee (Dolce Gusto capsules) and tea, as well as basic food ingredients (salt, sugar, pepper, oil etc.) and bathroom accessories (hand soap, shampoo, shower cream) are complimentary.
This part of Vltava riverside is very picturesque, with three islands: Detsky, Strelecky and Slovansky (Zofin).
The Strelecky island, accessible from Legion bridge, is covered by large park of 2,5 hectares with old trees and offers very interesting views of surroundings sights: National Theatre, Sova Mills, Kampa, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and Petrin hill.
The restaurant Strelecky ostrov, a hidden gem unknown by majoriry of tourists, is a interesting place built in year 1812 in Empire style. Its terrace (partly covered and heated) offers splendid view of the National Theatre, right bank and Zofin island.
