As requested I am writing to you to tell you about the arrangements with the Hotel Astra. The hotel matched the description quite well and we found the reception staff very helpful, even arranging a visit to the Brno shotgun factory although we had to cancel due to the time needed to get there at their specified time.The hotel room was comfortable although my friend complained he hit his knees against the toilet wall,we are arranging for an operation to have his knees reduced (Ha Ha! ).A couple times we were disturbed in the morning by a coach driver determined to warm up the engine five minutes before moving off under our window. The meals we had at dinner in the Wine Bar were excellent although if one was late for breakfast the eggs scrambled and fried kept warm were getting past their best. It must be difficult to cope with guests who are stragglers.
