Rooms and Hotel clean and courteous helpful staff. Suggest replacing faded flags on front of building and physically cleaning dirty exterior and pay for neighbor to remove graffiti from building. Also coffee should be whole bean brewed not instant. Thanks hope this helps

would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Hotel Julian, Prague for the hospitality we received on our visit last week-end. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, your hotel and the facilities provided were excellent, and we hope that we shall return to Prague one day. Thank you once again

The rooms were very comfortable. The service was excellent. The reception staff were very kind and most helpful. There are just two suggestions we have to make - It would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as they have in all the hotels in this country, and a grip rail on the wall beside the bath to make it easier and safer to get in and out of the very deep bath. We hope to visit Prague again. When we do we would choose to stay at the Hotel Julian. We would most certainly reccommend the Hotel Julian to any of our friends who might be visiting Prague. Our best regards and grateful thanks to all the staff at the Hotel Julian.

Our stay at the Hotel Julian on 9/9/00 to 12/9/00 was excellent. Our accommodations were great, the service was excellent, and we loved Prague. We did have a problem with the taxi drivers charging too much. The Hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We would recommend it to anyone going to Prague. It was very convenient with the trams just around the corner.

Hotel Julian was a pleasant, clean and efficient hotel, with the staff always most helpful in supplying local information or in addressing any small problem with the hotel room. I would have no hesitation in using this hotel again. In addition it was refreshing to find a hotel in a major city close to the centre but in an area frequented by the locals - sadly lacking in many of the choices available in the major Western European cities. On a wider note Prague was a quite awesome city with enough sites to occupy anybody for weeks let alone the mere few days I had available. Colleagues who had visited Prague previously had told me that the city was beautiful - but what I found surpassed even my most optimistic of expectations and completely overshadowed the excellent cities of Berlin and Dresden which I had visited earlier in the week. Having been fortunate to have visited almost all the major cities in the world, only Rome can surely match Prague for sheer beauty and interest and if there is a more beautiful square on the planet than the Old Town Square then I'm blissfully unaware of it. The old centre of Prague was quite astounding - and more than a match for even the most beautiful of cities which I've been lucky enough to have visited -Venice, Florence, San Francisco, Seville, Verona, Siena, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Salamanca, Bologna and Paris - Prague surpasses all on the list - a quite astonishing place enhanced by a friendly and courteous people. In addition the numerous hills and parks in close vicinity to the centre made it easy to find a quiet spot with the added attraction of stumbling by chance into stunning views across the city! Unfortunately the wealth of sites within Prague meant there was no opportunity to explore the numerous attractions beyond the city in the limited time available. However I'm certain I'll return within the next 6-18 months to explore the Czech Republic in greater detail. In addition with this being my first taste of the old Eastern Europe its a breath of fresh air to discover a major tourist attraction still largely free of the tourist excesses encountered in the likes of London, Paris and Venice - it only adds to the incentive to further explore the Czech Republic and other no doubt neighbouring attractions like Budapest. One thing which may be of interest to yourself is the lack of reference within even the main up to date Western Guide Books to Prague/ Czech Republic to organised tours from the city to attractions further afield. From my experience there would appear to be a number of tour operators offering day excursions, etc. outwith the city and readily booked via hotels etc. However most of the guide books still give the impression that it is necessary to take a local train /bus to reach an attraction - with the obvious pitfalls of the Czech language. I'm sure this leads to many a tourist confining themselves to Prague when planning a visit. From my own experience I found that language was not a major problem in central Prague with many people in the tourist areas speaking English or at worst able to converse in German or Italian (surprisingly!) as an alternative. Thank you one again for all the help in progressing this booking a few months back. Hopefully this has provided some useful feedback on a city which I now regard alongside Rome as the most rewarding in the world!

Hereby we send you our kindly regards. We have spent some very pleasant days in Prague. The hotel fullfiled our wishes and requirements and was very satisfatory. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was ideal for being a tourist with interest in the Old Town/Castle and so on. We are also very pleased with your prompt reply at the time off our booking of the hotel, and we would like to use the same hotel if we at any time should pay another visit to Prague.
