| Here, in the heart of the historical Prague, where the Charles Bridge connects to the castle in the Old town, you'll find Hotel Residence Lundborg. It is a small boutique hotel adapted to futuristic needs in a very luxurious environment with mostly suites. Nearly all with a beautiful view over the Charles Bridge. But, at the same time Residence Lundborg is an almost 700 year old house piously restored with beautiful rooms and a stylish interior.  Step back in time and explore this interesting place!The building that is now Hotel Residence Lundborg used to be called "U modreho lva" which means "At the Blue Lion" in English. The very first note taking about the building is from 1336. A few decenniums later King Charles IV ordered the production of a new bridge to replace Bridge Judith, which was destroyed during severe weather and was flooded 1342. The remains of Bridge Judith are now kept at the entrance, dining room, and wine cellar of the Hotel. It was Europe's second bridge, made of stone and built in 1158. The building was probably renovated or additions were made around 1770. The beautiful paintings on the ceilings of many rooms probably were derived from this renovation. |

| We are preparing daily breakfast 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. Our large buffet is served in our Brekafast Restaurant under the vaults on the remaning of the Judith bridge. Our hotel is equipped with an elevator. The warm-up for the daytime or night-time activities takes place in the bar and cafe "The Blue Lion". |
