Romantic Manor House LA VENERIA is 500 years old former residence of the Upper
Game-keeper (Grand Veneur) of Liechtenstein princes located in the park of the Valtice Castle, part of the UNESCO Lednicko-valticky complex in South Moravia. The building from year 1658, newly reconstructed in 2007, offers exquisite 4 stars accommodation in the castle style for affordable rates. The manor house is the seat of the intenational aristocratic order Knights of the Wine and regular meetings of the Rotary Club are held here.The town Valtice has a strategic location in the centre of the Moravian winegrowing region, which produces the best wines of the Czech Republic. Directly in the vast cellars of the Valtice Castle 
(only few minutes on foot through the castle park from La Veneria) is located the Wine Salon of the Czech National Wine Centre offering individual open, as well as supervised tasting of selected best Czech wines. For 349 CZK you can individually taste any of the 100 wines stored here, which were selected each year in the highest Czech wine competition - Wine Salon - from the best nominated Czech wines. There is always one bottle opened from each kind of wine. Detailed information regarding each wine
is available on the presentation box, as well as in the catalogue, which is included in the price. During wine-tasting a sommelier is present to advise the visitors and provide them with information about wine and individual wineries. The programme takes 90 minutes. The wine-tasting exposition is opened Tu-Th 9:30-17, Fr+Sa 10:30-18 and Su 10:30-17 (opened all year long except February, when takes place the preparation of the new exposition).

| We offer comfortable accommodation in 4 rooms named: "Blue room", "Flower room", "Orange room" and "Wedding room". Alltogether capacity is 12 beds. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with shower or jaccuzzi bathtub and toilet, TV SAT and original castle furniture. |

| Rich continental breakfast is included in the price and is served to your room (you will find a cart with your breakfast behind your door each morning) or in the garden terrace. From the garden you can access by a direct gate the Castle park. In front of the building there is a parking place guarded by camera system. |

| On the ground floor there is a large dinning hall, smaller lounge and a wine cellar. We can arrange a medieval knight banquet, dinners and programme (music, dance, fencers, jugglers etc.) or tasting of wines. Or you can make your private party in the wine cellar for free. You can also visit nearby austrian thermal spa Laa a. d. Thaya (30 km). |
