Кофе и чайSince ancient times this house has been called At The Black Eagle. According to the renowned Tomek's topography, in the 14th century there used to stand a palace of Mainz archbishop Ludwig. As an old legend says on one of his trips to the Prague royal court, warriors from his entourage found deep in the Bavarian woods an eagle with its talon stuck in a crevasse of a rock formation. They helped to free it and as recorded in the ancient chronicle whenever they traveled through border forests, a dark silhouette of this bird of prey always appeared above their heads as if to say thank you.
You can choose to be accommodated in one of 11 double rooms or in the spacious attic apartment with unique views of the nearby historic sites. Authentically furnished and period style rooms are divided into two types - Noble and Royal. Each room is equipped with a stylish bathroom with either a shower or bathtub and a water closet. Every room has an LCD TV with Czech and foreign satellite channels, a DVD player and a safe. A free WI-FI internet connection is available in the entire facility, or you can use our internet laptop located on the 1st floor. You can refresh yourself with drinks from the minibar or make warm coffee or tea from the tea set in your room.
The Noble rooms (Standard) - 4 cozy double rooms with a view of a picturesque hotel atrium will be the perfect place to rest between your trips to the many renowned Prague sites. Appointed with elegant oak furniture, their historic décor enhances the atmosphere of a Lesser Quarter house of the old times. Each room is equipped with an LCD SAT TV, DVD player, safe and a bathroom with a shower, water-closet, hair dryer, gown and slippers. We are pleased to provide a complimentary sweet surprise in the form of Czech-made chocolates and a bottle of mineral water.
The Royal rooms (Deluxe) - The Royal rooms offer great views of the town houses in Mostecká Street, while one of the rooms overlooks the hotel's atrium. Royal rooms are furnished with solid wood furniture, comfortable hand-made Hästens beds, an LCD TV, DVD player, safe and a separate bathroom. The rooms also have minibars and allow for an extra bed. We are pleased to provide a complimentary sweet surprise in the form of Czech-made chocolates and a bottle of mineral water.
Attic Suite - this luxurious attic suite with a unique setting spanning 100 m2 is equipped with air-conditioning. Its own balcony provides an unsurpassed view of the Petrin Hill, St. Nicholas Church and other nearby sites. It boasts a leather sofa with a side table, large double bed, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, toaster, kettle and table-ware). Apart from a large LCD satellite TV and a DVD player, the suite has a hi-fi system and a cordless phone. The bathroom has a bathtub and a water-closet.
You can enjoy Czech and international dishes at the hotel restaurant, with its stylish period decor and well-preserved historical vaults. Residence at the Black Eagle boasts the logo of "Czech Specials", which ranks it among certified restaurants, ensuring quality meals and service.
Friendly staff take care of a pleasant atmosphere here every day from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm. The restaurant is also suitable for private events, seminars or press conferences. You'll also find the optimum conditions for a successful business meeting - necessary privacy and free WI-FI connection are commonplace here.
Hotel guests are offered a discount on consumption in the restaurant of 15%. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served a la carte 7:00 to 11:00 am weekdays and 8:00 to 11:00 am on weekends. However, we are pleased to serve breakfast or any meal from the menu directly to the bed of your room. Room service can be used almost all throughout the day from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
The hotel reception, available to guests daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, provides your favorite movies on DVD free of charge or basic toiletries for purchase. Reception services include transfers and individual trips to Prague and sights in its vicinity. We can also arrange a private guide for your maximum comfort. Friendly staff can arrange tickets to theater performances or other entertainment, so you will not miss any cultural activities.
